What you will learn…

CV & Marketing Letter Writing Networking Interviewing Personalised Program

LETTER WRITING FOR JOBSEEKERS

Part 1 - Learning the Technique

US $150

This program includes a 60-minute telephone session (we pay for the call) with your career coach who will help you master the skill of preparing effective letters that you may need to write in connection with your job search - letters that produce results.

You will learn the proper format for your letters, why different types of letters are required, and what approach works best.

A PowerPoint presentation and sample cover letter that you can open on your PC or laptop will be provided by email in advance of the session.

During the telephone coaching session your coach will go through the PowerPoint presentation with you, covering the following types of letters:

•   Networking letters asking for information, ideas and advice
•   Letters registering your CV with a recruitment company
•   Letters applying for an advertised position
•   Speculative letters to companies
•   Follow up letters
•   Letters responding to a job offer
•   Letters withdrawing from consideration for a position.
•   Letters resigning from your present position
•   Letters accepting the job offer
•   Letters rejecting a job offer
•   Letters advising colleagues and friends of your new position
•   Thank you letters

Part 2 - Two Weeks of On-line Support

US $125

Following the telephone coaching session in Part 1, up to two weeks of support is available from our coaches by email and telephone as you create your own job application cover letter and speculative cover letter using the sample cover letter and the skills you have learned.

Your coach will work with you and critique your letters, making comments and suggestions for improvement and helping you to develop effective cover letters.
