This program includes a 60-minute telephone session (we pay for the call) with your career coach who will help you master the skill of networking in connection with your job search.
Networking is the most effective way to find a job but requires the hardest work. You will gain confidence in networking and learn why the ‘golden rule’ in networking is to never ask for a job.
A PowerPoint presentation and tips on networking that you can open on your PC or laptop will be provided by email in advance of the session.
During the telephone coaching session your coach will go through the PowerPoint presentation with you, covering the following topics:

• How to build an effective network
• The networking process
• How to start
• How to find “hidden jobs”
• What to say and not to say when networking
• How to follow up networking contacts
• Managing information and keeping accurate records
